SECONDARY SOCIETIES

Secondary Societies were formed to allow students to apply in real life the principles, truths and values learned in the classroom. It helps to develop the student’s personality by means of concrete individual and group activities by bringing out, enhance the innate and latent or dormant talents and aptitudes of the students. It also awakens and moulds a sense of leadership through concrete assumption and exercise of authority and responsibilities in young adults.

The societies are run by students with an appointed faculty adviser.  Officers from the student body conduct activities related to their area of interest:

  • School-wide competition such as academic quizzes, etc.
  • Community outreach programs such as charity drives, environmental awareness, etc.
  • Annual Projects such as exhibitions, presentations, etc.

These activities provide students with leadership training and experiences, mould their personalities, and instil positive traits and values to make them better individuals.   These also enrich their lives in school as well as serve as a training ground to prepare them for their future endeavours.
