Seri Mulia Sarjana School Year End Fun

Seri Mulia Sarjana School recently held a series of events to celebrate the learning and achievements of its students. In a fun-filled day at Jerudong Park Mini Amphitheatre, students were presented Hua Xia Cup Art and Calligraphy Awards.

As many as students, both Chinese and non-Chinese students, were awarded bronze, silver and gold medals for their outstanding achievements in the Hua Xia Cup. During the same event, a Chinese singing competition was also held, with enthusiastic participation from students and parents.

A culminating event for ECA and CCA fittingly titled Shine Sarjana was also held on the same day. Students excelled as they entertained parents, guests and friends with their fantastic skills learned throughout the year during ECA and CCA classes. There were performances from budding singers, musicians, actors and dancers. Best students from each ECA and CCA club were awarded on that afternoon. SMSS has over 25 ECA and CCA clubs and societies that aim to help students learn new and different skills and broaden their interests in other fields. ECA and CCA clubs and societies cover culture, sports, speech and movement, performing arts and visual arts.

During the same week, Year-End activities were also held for Primary students of SMSS.

While on the Preschool front, the little ones exhibited to parents and guests, what they have learned in the course of the school year, with a WOW Day. WOW Day showcased students’ communication through performances, booths, and video presentations. Parents, too, had fun participating in games and classroom interactions with other parents and their children’s class teachers. The IPC Early Years programme run by SMSS is a fun-filled curriculum that aims to integrate learning through themes focusing on discovery, exploration, communication and self-reliance.
