Dr. Graham Walker’s Science Show

On 13th April 2016, the Atomos Science club members of our school, together with their teachers Dhanya Ramachandran and Kezhakkail Sowmiya, took part in a live Science show by Dr. Graham Walker, a well known Australian Science showoffs master.

The Science show was organized by OGDC. The main objective was to ignite the student’s interest in science, to give a glimpse of how a live science show looks like and to enhance their curiosity in science through playing and interactive learning.

Dr. Graham walker demonstrated a wide range of experiments relating to pressure, combustion and liquid nitrogen. Most of his experiments were performed using simple recycled materials. The students had an opportunity to witness some experiments that they would be difficult to do in a normal class room environment.

Overall, It was indeed a fantastic learning opportunity for all.
