It is considered as an important art form for promoting peace and cultural diversity. There were two separate live concerts for both morning and afternoon sessions. It was a successful and a unique musical venture. Students, teachers, guest singers and local artists have shown their awesome talents and skills in performing jazz during the thrilling orchestra.
Jazz is more than music- it is a universal message of peace, harmonizing rhythm and meaning through listening and playing diverse, vibrant and cultural tunes. In November 2011 the UNESCO General Conference proclaimed 30th April as “International Jazz Day” to celebrate and learn the art of jazz its roots and its future impact. It is celebrated in 195 countries with billions of people. Through this musical bonanza, our students had the rarest opportunity to learn and experience more about the magical art form that's jazz.
