Hajat Prayer for Upcoming PSR

In less than three weeks, 201 Year 6 students of Seri Mulia Sarjana School will sit for ‘Penilaian Sekolah Rendah’ Examination (PSR). The School is increasing its efforts to prepare the students both physically and spiritually for their big day.

Apart from conducting extra classes every Friday since February this year, the school also took an initiative to hold a mass Hajat prayer and Surah Yasin recitation for the Year 6 primary students.

Held at the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Silver Jubilee Mosque in Kampong Jangsak last Thursday, the event initiated with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah which was led by Imam Haji Abdullah Bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Haji Abdul Wahid. Along with the teachers, parents and guardians, a mass Hajat prayer was performed at the mosque followed by the recitation of Surah Yasin.

The event aimed at motivating and encouraging the students to study and revise better in order to get great results in their upcoming PSR examination. It is also hoped that by seeking Allah’s blessings, the students will be given guidance, help, and peace in undertaking the examination and thus acquire great success in their PSR exam.
