The culminating activity, held last 16 February, was full of children beaming with pride and happiness as they perform famous nursery rhymes such as, “Clap Your Hands”, “If You’re Happy and You Know It”, “I Have Two Hands”, “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes”, and “Rain Rain Go Away”. Everybody had an equal share of the spotlight as all students from each class went on stage to entertain their teachers and friends with their performance. The activity remained true to its objective of developing the children’s self-esteem and language skills through “Stage Time”. But aside from this, students also learned more about respect as they attentively watched each performance and showed appreciation by clapping their hands. There is much more to anticipate in the coming weeks as they start their journey discovering about their second IEYC unit which is… “Food”!
“Let’s Sing and Dance in Lingo Land!”
“Let’s put on our dancing shoes and get ready to move and groove!”
KG2 had a fantastic day showcasing talents in rhyming, singing, and dancing during their Exit Point Activity for the All About Me unit.
