A Glimpse of Sarjana’s Glorious 25 Years

Seri Mulia Sarjana School marks its twenty five years of molding holistic and globally-responsible individuals through a world-class quality education.

Academic Excellence, Patriotism, and Values. These are the school’s cornerstone values which sets it apart from other schools in Brunei Darussalam. It aims for its students to seek constantly to grow in knowledge, understanding, and skills; bring forth loyalty and devotion to the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam; respect differences in other faiths and religions; and uphold good moral values to one and all. For twenty five years, Seri Mulia Sarjana School remained true to its vision, undaunted to the many challenges it endured along the way. That is why Seri Mulia Sarjana School is considered as one of the best private schools in Brunei.

As a part of the Silver Jubilee celebration of the School, an SMSS Time Capsule was sealed. It contains the well wishes of senior management, teachers and students. This Time Capsule is to be opened only when SMSS turns 50, in 2042.

All sections and campuses also recently unveiled its Heritage Wall, a chronicle of the school’s glorious journey from its humble beginning up to its flourishing years. The event was graced by the presence of the school’s founder and CEO Dr Mary Lim, the school’s director Ms Sophia Lim, principals across three sections, and delegates from Laos. Selected preschool students dressed as “Ninja Turtles” provided a hearty welcome to everyone at the beginning of the programme.

The founder and CEO then gave a heart-warming message reminiscing the school’s achievements for the past 25 years, the culture of teamwork and unity that she established in school, and all the hardwork that everyone shared for the success of the school.

A video tribute showing heartfelt messages from pioneer teachers and staff, alumni, and students almost brought tears to everyone watching. It was truly a moment to remember, a spectacular event worthy of praise!

The Heritage Wall and Video Tribute is available for all to view in all campuses.
