Achievements (69)

The SMSarjana Under-16 Boys Basketball team achieved  the Silver Medal award in the recently concluded annual Jerudong International School Basketball League held last Sunday, 9th April 2017 at Jerudong International School Sports Complex.

The 134 student achievers’ names echoed in the four walls of Scout Centre, Brunei Darussalam during the Outstanding Achievers 2016 Awarding Ceremony held on Friday, 10th March 2017.

The IET Brunei Darussalam Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Faraday Challenge 2017 Preliminary Round was held in Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) last Sunday, 2nd April 2017. There were eight teams which joined the competition from four different private schools in Brunei. Out of the eight teams, two teams represented Seri Mulia Sarjana School Secondary Section, one of which got into the National Level Final Round which will be held in the last quarter of the year.

Outstanding PSR Results for SMSS

The teaching team and Year 6 students of Seri Mulia Sarjana School have once again proved themselves in academic excellence with outstanding results at the 2016 PSR Penilaian Sekolah Rendah examination.

THE final round of the Brunei Entrepreneurship Education Scheme (BEES) 2.0 pitching competition took place yesterday, with the team from Seri Mulia Sarjana Secondary School emerging as the champions.

In 2015, SMS Primary Section English Language Department pioneered the effort to offer the Trinity College Graded Examination in Communication Skills to students.

Asian Students Leadership Conference 2016

Twenty three highly enthusiastic Seri Mulia Sarjana School Secondary students accompanied by 6 teachers in-charge gathered with 300 delegates from 12 countries all over Asia in the Asian Students Leadership Conference (ASLC) organized by Youth Ambassadors held in Singapore from 27th July 2016 to 31st July 2016.

Seri Mulia Sarjana School’s pride, Awangku Muhammad Isa Daniel Muqri Bin Pengiran Khamarul Zaman of Year 5B, went on an all-expense-paid trip to Yokohama, Japan to attend the awarding ceremony of the Mitsubishi Asian Children’s Enikki Festa 2015-2016 on 26 July 2016.

The School participated and won 2nd runner up in the recently concluded ASIA MATHEMATICS ENGINEERING CHALLENGE at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The team comprised of Abraham Ming Moncherry (8A), Ethan Cheam Kai Jun(8A), Nur Khairin Bte Hj Md Soffian(8B), Rhalf Rhoel Camaclang Rutor(7A) and Francis Neil Lumanog Linezo(8A). The team was led and guided by Teacher Jaymar.

On Thursday, 2 June 2016, in conjunction with this year’s World Health Day with the theme ‘Healthy Lifestyle: Healthy Diet’, a group of 28 primary students of Seri Mulia Sarjana School took part in a Bahasa Melayu Choral Speaking Competition organised by the Co-Curriculum Department at the Ministry of Health’s Al-Afiah Hall, Berakas.

SMSS Primary Futsal Team Earns Silver

Out of 15 schools, Seri Mulia Sarjana School Primary futsal team bagged the silver medal in the Zone III Primary School Futsal Tournament. 

Another laurel has been added to the academic hall of fame of Seri Mulia Sarjana Secondary Section by Jaspreet Kaur Sandhu of 2015 O’ Level batch. Jaspreet has won the prestigious Cambridge Brilliance Award – “Top in Brunei in POA” (BCGCE’ O’ Level 2015).
