‘Best of the Bee’

My Small World opened its 4th Spelling Bee yesterday, drawing the participation of hundreds of upper primary and secondary students from different schools. Seri Mulia Sarjana school Sent five entrants from each year level joined the elimination round yesterday.

Gerome Madapat and Martina Agbayani of Y9E bagged the 2nd Place in the 30 Seconds Infomercial Competition with the Theme: Creativity the Next Generation organised by Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) and the Patent Registry Office in conjunction with the World Intellectual Property Day.

The members of the Athletics Society headed by teacher Jaymar Eustaquiao won an Epson 3 in 1 printer for finding the weirdest rubbish - a big spool of thread from water filter during Beachathon 2013.

SMS Students Receive Awards in Arts

Seri Mulia Sarjana students Jackson Ho Yii Kin, Jackson Teo Hao Jie, and Luqman Hakim Bin Imaharan received the Honorable Mention awards from the 40th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2012, Czech Republic.

Four primary students of Seri Mulia Sarjana School joined the colouring contest category during the ‘Sudut Lakaran Memori Exhibition 2012’ organised by Brunei Darussalam National Archives in conjunction with the International Archives Day last year.

SMS Bags 5th Place in 2013 Pacific Olympiad

Tang Wei Fan, a Year 6 student bagged fifth place besting over 120 participants in the 2013 Pacific Olympiad for Private Schools held in Brunei Darussalam last 6 April 2013.

Engaging in commerce is indeed a beneficial experience for the youths such us the secondary students in preparation for their journey in today's economic world. Sarjana Buzz Worthy, comprised of Year 9 and 10 secondary students participated in the BEES Programme. The group was awarded "Best Innovative Product".

Seri Mulia Sarjana School took part in the Jerudong International School Invitational Inter-School Swimming Competition held on the 27th of January 2013 at the National Swimming Pool Berakas.

It was a double celebration for Seri Mulia Sarjana School (SMSS) as they were named the winner of the 14th Princess Rashidah Young Nature Scientist Award (PRYNSA) and one of the finalists for PRYNSA 15.

Forty students from five schools were given the opportunity to show their interest in nature, talents and capabilities in their respective year-long project that culminated in an award ceremony yesterday.
