The first SMSS Free Day brought out the essence of culture, patriotism and rich heritage of the school. All these rolled into one event of three folds; Heritage Wall Launching, 33rd National Day and Chinese New Year Celebration.
Seri Mulia Sarjana School's Student Discipline and Counseling Unit from both Primary and Secondary sections joined hands and organized a Student Council Leadership Training for the new batch of student council officers.
Ten Sarjanian girls made a great start with quick goals and defensive play in the U11 ( Under 11) friendly match against Chung Hwa Middle School, International School of Brunei (ISB) and Jerudong International School (JIS) respectively.
To be relevant in the 21st Century, a strong and varied co-curricular programme becomes an integral part of the experience at Seri Mulia Sarjana School. SMSS provides a variety of activities that challenge and appeal to each and every student. Likewise, such activities enhance the learning experience of the students and help them recognize their inner skills such as leadership, creative or innovative and communication skills to mention a few.
25 years of providing Quality Education to the children of Brunei Darussalam shouts Seri Mulia Sarjana School as it pays tribute to the founder and all those who were instrumental to the realisation of the founder’s dream. This giving of honour happened during the programme held on 13th January 2017 in conjunction with the school’s 25th Foundation Anniversary.
On 1st October 2016, all of Seri Mulia Sarjana School celebrated Teacher’s Day, organized by the Primary Student Council and the Secondary Supreme Council of Students 2016.
The 3rd PTM & Awarding Ceremony was successfully carried out on 28 September 2016 at SMSS Secondary, Primary and Preschool sections. The day was allotted to give parents the time to have a dialogue with their children’s teachers to update themselves of their children’s strengths and areas of improvement in school.
Seri Mulia Sarjana School administrators attended the Brunei Teachers’ Standards (BTS) and Teacher Performance Appraisal (TPA) Workshop for Private Schools on 18th to 20th January 2016.
Seri Mulia Sarjana School held its 24th Graduation and Awarding Ceremony on 22 November 2015 at the Rizqun International Hotel in Gadong, with the theme “Shine Sarjana”.
Seri Mulia Sarjana School recently held a series of events to celebrate the learning and achievements of its students. In a fun-filled day at Jerudong Park Mini Amphitheatre, students were presented Hua Xia Cup Art and Calligraphy Awards.
Giving due recognition to students who attained high honours in different fields is what makes Seri Mulia Sarjana School very distinct. It believes that a simple pat on the back and other gestures of praise and appreciation can steer individuals to dream BIG and reach greater heights.
