The transition from primary to secondary life is a huge change for Year 6 students. To help them prepare for this new phase, Seri Mulia Sarjana School secondary section and its Student Council organised an ‘Open Day’ which gave these starters a feel of secondary school.

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports hosted the annual Birthday Run of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Singapore Delegates Visit SMSS

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, in conjunction with the 7th Meeting of ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Culture and Arts (AMCA), invited delegates from the different participating countries to share their knowledge on culture and arts with the 13 government and private schools in Brunei Darussalam.

SMSS Primary Choir Performs at the AMCA

Seri Mulia Sarjana Primary Choir was privileged to be part of the opening ceremony of the biennial 7th Meeting of ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Culture and Arts (AMCA) and Related Meetings with Dialogue Partners.

Three Primary Year Four students have entrenched their writing edge when they bagged three silver awards from the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition 2016, the world’s oldest writing competition. The winning essays were selected from approximately 13,500 entries spanning the five regions of the Commonwealth.

Selamat Hari Raya! The whole of Preschool celebrated the festive season of Hari Raya Aidl Fitri during their third Free Day. Each level had prepared varying activities as they dashed to the Preschool Hall.

Walaupun bulan Syawal menuju ke penghujungnya namun kemeriahan Hari Raya Aidilfitri masih lagi terasa dikalangan warga sekolah, khususnya Sekolah Seri Mulia Sarjana, Jangsak.

Celebration of Bruneiana

On the 6th August 2016, Secondary section celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri with an array of spectacular cultural fiesta-Bruneiana. The ceremony commenced with Takbir Hari Raya Aidilfitri recital by 19 male students from the Upper Secondary.

Houses and Homes Entry Point

Classrooms of K3 transformed into a different place – instead of the usual rooms where students read and write, they turned into different habitats of animals and houses of certain groups of people. The rooms became a beehive, a cave, tepee, a giant aquarium, and a pond for the K3 Houses and Homes Entry Point.

A league of 21 principals and owners of preschools and day care centers from all over Malaysia visited the Seri Mulia Sarjana School Early Years section.
