The Humanities Department organized the Doodle eARTh Contest on April 1st, 2023, with the theme “Invest in our Planet” (Green Energy for Green Economy) to coincide with Earth Day celebrations in April. The contest consisted of two categories: Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary. The prize presentation took place on May 23rd, 2023.

In the Lower Secondary category, the winners were Sibani Rajnarayan from Y7B, Ziarrah Louise Taib Uson from Y8B, and Ivone Kong Cai Wen from Y8E, securing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions respectively. Other participants in the event included Niaz Ihsan Barasi Nurul Islam from Y7A, Isaac Tiong Ing Hoe from Y8A, and Carrie Adrienne Binti Haji Danny from Y7E.

Moving on to the Upper Secondary category, the winners were Nurul Izzati Binti Haji Sidup from Y10A, Azeema Nazahaa Binti Shoukry from Y10D, and Krizel Anne Tiongson Lim from Y9A, claiming the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places respectively. Additional participants in this category were Nurul Raihana Razalina Binti Yahya from Y9B, Chong Jing Xuan from Y9C, Dayangku Siti Nur Alya Nasyitah Binti Pengiran Haji Mohammad Iskandar from Y11A, Syarifah Effah Syafinaa Binti Abdul Samad from Y11D, and Jawata Afnan Khan from Y11C.

The top winners received a trophy, Certificate of Recognition, and cash prizes, while the non-winners were awarded a Certificate of Recognition and art materials.
The art contest aimed to raise awareness about the use of alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, and geothermal power in combating global warming and addressing climate change. The event was organized and facilitated by Cikgu Othman Haji Mohsin and Teacher Dexter Junsay from the Art Department.
