Aimed at preparing and polishing the teachers’ ability for a more creative, fun, interesting and student – centered teaching techniques for the upcoming terms in the academic year 2020, nine teachers from the English Department signed up for a vocabulary workshop conducted by the prestigious Panaga School of Brunei Darussalam. This was held on a Friday afternoon, January 10th.

During the workshop, participants were introduced to a collection of activities/games that would help nurture and develop the students’ skills as well as tackling their vocabulary needs. Many of the activities such as the “Odd One Out”, “Dice Roll” were associated with the concerned topics like vocabulary, comprehension and so on. These would somehow allow the students to be more creative in constructing sentences confidently while developing their personal written style as well as, exploring them to different types of possibilities in learning.

Well done, English teachers!
