In a heartwarming display of collaboration between home and school, Kindergarten 1
students at SMSS Preschool recently did a special Home Project as part of their IEYC
Unit Theme. With the guidance and support of their parents, our young Sarjanians
creatively crafted their Family Portrait, each reflecting the unique dynamics and
personalities within their households. These artworks, adorned with love and
imagination, served as a tangible representation of the students’ identities and familial
connections. Upon completion, they proudly brought these portraits to school for a
‘Show and Tell’ activity on 2nd March 2024, where they excitedly shared stories about
their families and celebrated the cherished role of each family member in shaping their
sense of self.
