On Friday, 4th June 2021, SMSS Preschool Section hosted another orientation session, this time with our K2 and K3 Volunteer Parents Committee (VPC). The session started with a welcoming remark by Acting Principal, Ms. Putri Maharani, and later followed with the introduction of the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) by the Deputy Principal for Academics of the Preschool Section, Ms. Cecilia Landingin. As the school aims for IEYC accreditation, the roles & duties of the committee in relation to the learning targets and activities were significantly highlighted. The newly inducted VPC members were also given the opportunity to get to know the extended community through an icebreaking activity.
The academic team looks forward to working actively with the inducted group of parents for the school year 2021 and the succeeding years!
