This year’s Sportfest was an exhilarating success that brought together every corner of our school community: students, teachers, staff, and parents. The much-anticipated annual event kicked off with vibrant opening ceremonies held by each section within their respective campuses. Following these spirited beginnings, a diverse range of indoor and outdoor activities took place. Participants engaged in everything from badminton, basketball, and futsal to dodgeball, netball, swimming, tug of war, obstacle courses, billiards, chess, and running competitions.
These competitions not only allowed students to indulge in their passions but also encouraged them to maintain their physical well-being. In the pursuit of the highly sought-after overall champion title, four teams—namely, RED LION, YELLOW EAGLE, GREEN KOMODO, and BLUE SHARK—showcased intense competitiveness while upholding the core Sarjana values of respect, initiative, global responsibility, honor, and teamwork.
The pinnacle events for both Primary and Secondary sections unfolded on August 17th at Padang dan Balapan, while the Preschool’s culmination took place on August 19th at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex.
For three decades, Seri Mulia Sarjana School has remained committed to providing holistic education. This commitment is evident in our robust Physical Education Curriculum and the biennial Sportsfest that is etched into our calendar. These endeavors aim to foster students’ competitive spirit and their determination to excel. This year’s SPORTSFEST has yet again provided a platform to nurture students’ skills in a diverse range of sports, offering them a unique opportunity for an enjoyable and educational physical experience. Furthermore, it has upheld the proud legacy of the unparalleled ‘Sarjanian’ culture within the vast educational spectrum.
