On 31st January, 2024, the Counselling and Guidance Unit, in collaboration with Findlay Sdn Bhd, held their first Career Pathway Exhibition for Year 10 Express and Year 11 students this year. The event is part of the Counselling and Guidance Unit’s strategy to support students in their university and career aspirations, aiming to provide as much information as possible about the future pathways available to them. A total of 10 university representatives were in attendance, offering advice regarding the students’ interests.
The institutions that participated in the event included Taylor’s University (Malaysia), Curtin University (Malaysia), James Cook University (Singapore), Anglia Ruskin University College (ARUC), CATS Global Schools, INTO University Partnerships (UK, US & Australia), Navitas (UK & EU), Navitas (US & Canada), ONCAMPUS (UK and EU), and Findlay Sdn Bhd. Parents also attended the event, where they met with exhibitors alongside their children to discuss their career aspirations and available pathways after O Level. It was a successful event, with students showing their interest by actively participating and communicating with representatives from different institutions. With this event, it is hoped that students will be motivated to excel in their studies in order to pursue their desired institutions.
