To ensure continuity between school and home learning especially in Mathematics, SMSS makes it a point to involve parents by teaching them methods so they can help support their children at home.

This year, the Mathematics department has once again reached out to parents of the Upper Primary students by holding a workshop on Friday, 7th February 2020. The Teachers demonstrated methods and strategies which were designed to make numeracy more appealing to students, thus seeing Maths in a different way.

Parents enjoyed the session as they are now equipped with ideas and activities that can drum up their children’s interests in Mathematics.

Thank you, Mathematics mentors, for taking the initiative in extending help to our partners in learning.
