Blasting powerful sprints paved the way for the spirited Muhd Kasyfi Adaniy Bin Hasnan to clinch the sweet Silver Medal in the 200-metre dash, Boys Category, in the recently concluded “Kejohan Olahraga Sekolah Menenga, Kluster 1B.” The said athletic competition, organised by the Co-Curriculum Department, Ministry of Education, was held at the Stadium Negara Hassanal Bolkiah, Brunei Darussalam on Sunday, 3rd March 2019.
Meanwhile, the Sarjana 4×100 metres sprinters Boys and Girls Categories, advanced to the finals finishing at 7th and 6th places respectively. Furthermore, the Sarjana 100 and 200 metres bagged the 6th and 7th spots in the Girls Category.
With the combined efforts of the coaches Muhammad Firdaus bin Haji Mohd Sharon, Ahmad Shakir Haji Hassan and Michael John Mugas Quinto, the athletes exhibited high morale, demonstrated teamwork, and showed a great deal of sportsmanship. Having been inspired, the Sarjana U12 runners aspire to sweep the gold medals in the next athletic competitions.
