Intending to explore different weathers through art and play, Kindergarten 2 kickstarted their IEYC ‘Weather Wonder’ Unit Entry Point. They arrived at school dressed for their favourite weather – may it be rainy, snowy, or sunny. A variety of sensory play and art activities were set up to keep them engaged and stimulated
as well as to increase their ecological awareness. These included weather sensory bottles, water play, snowflake spray painting, raincoat making, and others to keep them engaged and stimulated. They also had an opportunity to visit and explore other classrooms which were transformed into a different weather theme.
