On 29th of January 2019, Riamtec from Miri and UCSI Malaysia were invited to give a higher education talk to all Year 11 students aimed at briefing the students about the various pathways they can take after completing their O’Level examinations. Students were informed about the various courses available, duration of the courses, academic requirements needed and the school fees of such programs. Students were also briefed on the co-curricular activities and hands-on experiences provided by the institutions to equip their pupils with necessary skills and knowledge after they have completed their studies. The open forum after the presentations paved the way for SMSS year 11 students to clarify their concerns. Leaflets and contact details were also given should the students wish to enquire further. SMSS teachers were also present during the talk so that they may better aid the students in deciding which pathway to take.
