Seri Mulia Sarjana School celebrated its 29th Founding Anniversary last 13th January 2021. The three sections, Preschool, Primary and Secondary Sections had different celebrations on the 13th, 14th, 16th January respectively.
The preschool students celebrated through a short-story telling about the history of the school and a simple ‘Question-and-Answer’ game.
The Primary Section showcased some of its homegrown talent through song, dance, and playing of musical instrument presentations. To make the commemoration of its foundation day more special, the IPC logo was unveiled, the new Reading Room and the Plastic Ocean exhibit were opened.
The celebration in the Secondary Section was made more exciting by performances from Young Acoustic Band and Dance Synergie. To express gratitude to the school and its founder, Dr. Mary Lim, Mathew Abel Filio of Year 10 Express, in behalf of the whole Secondary Section, delivered a speech.
All three celebrations were graced by its Founder and CEO, Dr. Mary Lim, who led the ceremonial cake-cutting. Dr. Mary Lim inspired the students in her speech by talking about the humble beginnings of SMSS. All the teachers who have been with the school since its early years were also presented on stage.
From its humble beginnings, SMSS has grown into one of the leading education institution in the country and it is committed to continue forming young minds by providing a ‘Total’ and quality Education for all.
